Day 1 : Arrive Srinagar airport, assistance to hotel / houseboat Check-in . Srinagar is also knwon as “paradise on Earth”. Afternoon free. Dinner and overnight at hotel / houseboat. Day 2 : After breakfast leave for sightseeing tour of Mughal gardens visiting cheshmashahi(The royal spring), Nishat( the garden of pleasure), Shalimar (The adobe of Love) and famous Shankaracharya temple. Afternoon free(One can go for Shikara ride on self expenses basis). Dinner and overnight at Hotel/houseboat. Day 3 : After breakfast leave hotel / houseboat and proceed to pahalgam (7200 ftsa.s.l) “village of Shephards” enroute visiting the world’s famous saffron fields, Awantipora ruins (9th century) and Martand Temple ( Sun Temple) .Pahalgham is also famous for Indian film industry(Bollywood). Pahalgham is also famous for some trekking routes & also base camp for Amarnath pilgrimage. Enjoy the natural beauty and river lidder. Return back to Srinagar for dinner and overnight in hotel / houseboat. Day 4 : After breakfast leave houseboat / hotel and proceed for full day excursion trip to gulmarg(8700 fts a.s.l) “Meadow of Flowers”. Gulmarg has a famous golf course during summer ( which is one of the highest 18-hole golf course in the world.) and ski resort during winter. One can have Gondola ridde (on self expenses). Return back to srinagar for dinner and overnight in hotel / houseboat. Day 5 : After breakfast Check out from hotel / houseboat and proceed to kargil via sonmarg (9000 fts a.s.l) the “the Golden meadow” . Sonamarg is the beginning of the enchanting journey into a natural wonderland surrounded by mountains 5300 metres hight “ . Baltal (the base camp for Amarnath pilgrimage)15kms continue the journey to kargil via Zojila and drass. On arrival in kargil Check-In hotel. Overnight stay at hotel. Day 6 : After breakfast leave for Leh,enroute visit Gurduwara Pather Sahib, Alchi monastery ,Moon Landscape, Lamayuru (Oldest Monastery in ladakh) and Giant Maitreya at Mulbekh. Day 7 : Leh a Complete Day Of Visit To The Monasteries (104kms) After breakfast drive to visit the shey Palace, thiksey, Hemis monasteries and stok palace Museum. Packed or hot Lunch will be provided . Return to leh in the evening. Overnight in the hotel. Day 8 : Leh To Khardong La To Leh (78kms) 0800 hrs . Drive for Khardongla pass, which is the world’s highest motarable road ranging at 18380 feet. Return to Leh in the afternoon, and enjoy a hot lunch at the hotel. After lunch one is free to explore the Local market at one’s disposal. Overnight at hotel.
